MEET ROSE MCVICKER!
Hi there! My name is Rose McVicker.
I just graduated cosmetology school at Carteret Community College in March of 2022. I was lucky enough to meet Kristine while she was a guest educator for my class and immediately connected with her teaching style and passion for her work. I have learned so much from Kristine since meeting her and have fallen in love with the environment that she has created at Beauty Bar!
I was born and raised in Carteret County and love getting out of the house to spend time in nature, whether it be going to the beach or taking a hike in the woods. I have a sweet husky named Bloo at home and a fluffy orange cat named Loki who love getting out and exploring nature with me; they are certainly always keeping me moving. I also really love to experiment with new makeup styles and hair color combinations, I am always changing it up and keeping those around me on their toes! I love that the beauty industry is constantly evolving and that I get to evolve with it, constantly growing along the way.
My biggest goal in the beauty industry is to create and foster a safe and inclusive space for everyone, providing each client comfort and a personalized experience that they can't wait to come back for. When I first stepped foot in Beauty Bar I knew that this was the kind of space that I wanted to be a part of and learn in. I cannot wait to continue my training with Kristine at Beauty Bar and to continue meeting all of our amazing clients! See you soon!
